Offenses in Nevada That Cannot Be Sealed

Certain convictions for crimes against a child and certain sex crimes cannot be sealed or expunged in Nevada.

"Sexual offenses" :NRS 200.030(1)(b); NRS 200.366; NRS 200.368 felony); NRS 200.400; NRS 200.405 (felony ex offense); NRS 200.408 (a sexual offense); NRS 201.210 (felony); NRS 201.220 (felony); NRS 201.230; NRS 201.450; NRS 201.560 (felony); NRS 200.508 (sexual abuse or exploitation); NRS 200.710-200.730; NRS 201.180; NRS 201.195; or an attempt to commit any of these offenses.

"Crime against a child" includes the following offenses, if the victim of the offense was under the age of eighteen at the time of the offense: kidnapping pursuant to NRS 200.310-200.340 (unless parent of the victim); false imprisonment pursuant to NRS 200.460 (unless parent of the victim); an offense involving pandering or prostitution pursuant to NRS 201.300-201.340; or an attempt to commit one of these offenses.
